Matt Coverstone

CONDUCTING BROWNSBURG
Mr. Coverstone is the director of the ICC Brownsburg Choir and accompanies the ICC Zionsville Choir. He completed his bachelor’s degree in vocal music education at Ball State University. Mr. Coverstone is a public school teacher at Brownsburg West Middle School. He is a vocal music specialist teaching choir, piano lab and general music. He is involved with the drama department and codirects both the middle school musical and the high school musical. Mr. Coverstone has been involved with the Indiana Music Educator’s Association Circle the State with Song Festival as an area coordinator. He has recently completed the Level I Kodály program at Indiana University. Mr. Coverstone has worked with the Indianapolis Children's Choir since the 2003-2004 season. He is an active member of the Indiana Music Educators Association and Indiana Choral Directors Association.
