Area and Local Performances

The Indianapolis Children's Choir enjoys the opportunity to participate in important civic events, corporate and professional gatherings, celebrations, and remembrances throughout Central Indiana.  The ICC singers have performed for Indiana gubernatorial inaugurations, the Governor's Arts Awards, the Indiana Living Legends Award Gala, the Indiana Leadership Summit, the international Solheim Cup tournament, the 2004 FINA World Swimming Championships, the U.S. Grand Prix, international and national conventions, and a number of corporate engagements.  Additionally, the ICC regularly appears with various arts organizations including the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Indianapolis Opera.  As Indianapolis continues to flourish, we are proud to have these opportunities to contribute to the life of our community and believe that our ongoing effort to communicate a willingness to be involved as a community partner singing national anthems, providing entertainment, and commemorating special events serves the organization and the children in unique and powerful ways.

Statewide, National, and International Bookings

The Indianapolis Children’s Choir is available for limited engagements throughout the state of Indiana, nationally and internationally.  Audiences worldwide have enjoyed the musical artistry by this outstanding and nationally renowned children’s choir. Statewide the ICC has been guest artists with the Evansville Philharmonic, featured performers on the Jasper Family Arts Series and charmed audiences at the elegant Honeywell Center in Wabash, Indiana. ICC has performed at Carnegie Hall, Canterbury Cathedral, the Vatican, and with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the performance fee?
The performance fee for the Indianapolis Children's Choir varies due to the size and type of event, location, length of performance, and number and skill level of singers required.  For a performance fee quote, please contact Janet Bishop, Managing Director, at 317.940.8070 or jbishop@icchoir.org.

For what type of event will the Indianapolis Children's Choir perform?
The ICC has performed in a variety of settings providing entertainment for civic, professional concert series, and corporate events.  We welcome the opportunity to consider your request.  Please note that we do not perform for wedding ceremonies.

What dates and times is the Indianapolis Children's Choir available to perform?
The Indianapolis Children's Choir will accept requests for any date and time throughout the year.  However, the ICC season runs from September through June annually, and therefore availability is limited in July and August.  Additionally, in support of our mission to enrich the lives of children, please limit your request to evenings and weekends that will not interfere with traditional school hours. 

Who pays to transport the choir?
For regional performance, the Indianapolis Children’s Choir requires the requesting organization to pay for all transportation costs. For local performances, there is no transportation charge.
