assistance, communication and ICC/CICC policies.
2. PERFORMANCE DETAIL SHEETS – detail
sheets available on line when the ICC office has information in
hand.
3. DESCANT RETREAT– Saturday
Sept. 11th – 8:30 am – 11:30 am.
All Descant singers are expected to attend this very important and
fun filled event. What is a choir retreat? Choir retreat is an educational day of
rehearsal, social activities, music
education and movement classes.
Retreat rehearsals and activities are designed to prepare the singer for
up coming performances, further develop their music
reading skills and help them to get to know one another and the many conductors they will
be working with as a member of a professional children’s choir.
4. PERFORMANCE POLICY: Performances are considered “mandatory”
unless specifically marked “select” or
“voluntary” However, if you have
a school music performance conflict, you are expected
to go to your school performance. If you already know of a
conflict, fill out a pre-arranged
absence form (available on line) and present it to
your CICC choir director at the first rehearsal. See dates below.
